A trade mark wet finish of Buckeye Fabric Finishing, OH. Canvak finish can be applied on cotton ducks, polycotton blends and nylon-cotton blends. The fabric is coated using a wax based emulsion. Canvak is a wet finish that makes the fabric heavier. Typically there is a 50% add on to the weight of the base fabric. There is a pungent odor in the coated fabric. This is the preferred finish for Military Covers, Tents, Tarps, Industrial Shelters and similar Outdoor applications. Canvak is a durable water and mildew resistant finish. We have a stock program in 10 Oz. & 12 Oz. Cotton ducks with a Canvak finish in the color Olive Drab. Other color choices are Green, Tan, Blue, Gray, Brown & Clear. On request, we can treat any cotton or poly-cotton fabric from 7 Oz. to 24 Oz./sq.yd in widths: 36″ to 80″

But in addition to a durable water and mildew resistant finish, it is also flame retardant per the CPAI-84 specifications. We have a stock program in 10 Oz. & 12 Oz. Cotton ducks with a Pyrosnuff finish in the color Olive Drab. Other color choices are Green, Tan, Blue, Gray, Brown & Clear. On request, we can treat any cotton or poly-cotton fabric from 7 Oz. to 24 Oz./sq.yd in widths: 36″ to 80″
