In ancient Greek mythology, “Hera” is a “protector”. With an added vowel, it also refers to a “diamond” in ancient Indian terminology.
What better way to sum up the intended use of this dyed fabric collection. It is a nice, heavy weight canvas (#8 cotton duck) that is readily available in an array of colors. The dyed fabric weighs about 17 oz/sq yard and has 3-plied yarns in the warp & the fill direction of the fabric. The fabric is quite rugged and stands head and shoulders above other fabrics in terms of performance and durability.
Our Hera fabric collection is dyed with high quality reactive dyes that have very good colorfastness to washing. The dyes and chemicals used in production complies with product safety standards such as REACH, CPSIA, AAFA, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, etc. In addition, the reactive dyes add more vibrancy and hue than the other dyes. The end product you make will be a stand-out from the rest – all these without burning a hole in your pocket.
